| The new Clubhouse was officially opened in April 2009, following the arson attack that destroyed our previous building in December 2006. It is a most impressive building with modern facilities including our main carpeted bar area and also wooden floor area that can be separated by a sliding partition, to either make two defined areas or one large one. The wooden area can be used as dancing area at parties or events. There is also a serving hatch from the kitchen area. | |||||||||||||||||||

| The Club is happy to hire out our premises for a variety of functions whether they be daytime or evening, at a small charge. The Club is voluntary run with all monies raised going back into the Club. We can hold around 80 people comfortably for events and welcome those who want to socialise - such as children's parties, 30 year old plus birthday parties upwards (we don't have 18th. and 21st. parties, sorry), christening celebrations, presentation evenings, retirement parties, even funeral wakes and a variety of other social events. We will staff the bar with Club Members - we do not employ a Bar steward nor have any paid officials. We are all volunteers. We are not a business. There is also a modern kitchen facility for you to use at your event, although we can not provide catering ourselves for private hires. However, the Club will be in use between May and September by the Club for cricketing purposes, so there would only be limited private hire availibilities during the cricket season. | |||||||||||||||||||
