4th placed Kenilworth had to settle for a losing draw at League leaders, Highway, in a high scoring and entertaining encounter. Highway were invited to bat first and took full advantage as they amassed 275-7 in their 50 overs mainly thanks to a partnership of 158 for the 2nd wicket between Dave Thornton who made 87 from just 74 balls and Jamie Marsh 79. Once they both fell, it was left to Steve Vaughan who made 46 from 39 balls before he was superbly run out by Tom Lawrence attempting a second run to take Highway to their final total. For Town, Gregg Peebles toiled hard to be rewarded with 3-66, Geoff Edmunds 2-82 and 1-65 from Mitch Lowe. In reply, Kenilworth slumped to 18-2 before an 88 run partnership between Richard Collinson who made his best 1st X1 score with 42 and Lee Melvile 46 left the game finally poised. Once they both fell, 120-4 quickly became 144-6 with 132 needed off 19 overs for victory. However, a 7th wicket stand of 99 in just 89 balls between Tom Lawrence 33 and the returning Adrian Sellar a rapid 66 not out from 62 balls took Kenilworth to the verge of victory but the overs ran out as the Town settle on 253-8. For Highway, Steve Vaughan 2-58 Jamie Marsh 2-63 and Adrian Butler 2-55. Highway 17 points Kenilworth 11 points

A 5 wicket defeat for the Town 2's saw them get into deeper relegation trouble as they remain firmly rooted in second bottom place following their defeat to the 3rd bottom placed Ansley Sports. The Town could only muster 198-9 despite the efforts of Mark Stranks whose 77 ball innings saw him hit 61 with 10 boundaries, colt Pat Howard 44 (7 x 4s), Mike Faulkner 26 and Phil Edmonds 25 but the innings fell away as Musson went onto take 6-58. Ansley's batsmen all contributed with Walton to scoring with 46, then Parnell 38, Haddon 28 and Smith 25. Spinners Edmonds was rewarded with 3-55 from 15 fine overs and Andy Smith 2-64 but it was left to Simpson 27* and Phillips 20* to guide Ansley home to 199-5 with 5 overs to spare.

A solid all round performance saw the Town 3's secure a 108 run win over Redditch after posting 208-4 in their 45 overs. They had Lewis Phillips with 46 (7 x 4s), Jeff Stanners 41 (4 x 4s), colt Patrick Jenkinson 37 (5 x 4s), James Alty 25 and Andy Dadswell 17* to thank for reaching their final total. Redditch never recovered from being 4-4 inside 4 overs as colt Lewis Barge and Josh Meszar took the top order out. Barge went onto take 2-9 off 6 overs and Meszar 2-21 off his 8 overs. Indy Matharu then chipped in with 2-25 and Chris Beach 1-22 but a 7 ball burst from Phillips was rewarded with a match winning 3-6 as he ripped through the Redditch tail and see them skittled out for 100.

Kenilworth suffered a Sunday League defeat as Harborne emerged victors by 33 runs but remain firmly in pole position in the Warwickshire Sunday League Division 1 title chase. Harborne had no hesitation in batting first after winning toss and they made 260 all out with 2 overs of their allocation unused. This was largely due to 2 sizeable partnerships for the 3rd and 4th wickets of 82 and 114 respectively. Former Indian test player, SS Das, top scored as he did in the game at Warwick Road earlier in season with 89 from just 42 balls, opener Robert Powell made 62 and Kieran Iyer 33. For the Town, colt Phil Edmonds, led the attack with 3-62 to which Tom Pope added 2-32. In reply, Kenilworth slumped to 14-2 before Mitch Lowe and James Nason put on 131 in only 135 balls for the 3rd wicket as they made 86 and 55 respectively but once they fell only keeper Guy Pearson with a rapid 35 from 30 balls reached double figures as the Town were 227-9 when the overs ran out to give Harborne a 33 run win. Kieran Iyer 2-25, Arshad 2-42 and Alex Kirkpatrick 2-48 were the Harborne main wicket takers.

A classy young Stratford side were far too good for the Town 2's as they easily won by 8 wickets in their 40 over a side friendly encounter. The Stratford bowlers did exceptionally well to restrict the Town to 171-6 as opener Dave Temple made 37 and mid order colt James Alty 37 not out in his 33 ball innings in which he made 6 boundaries. Tristan Glanfield took 2-17, Hughes 1-18 from 8 overs, Bishop 1-15 and Duguid 1-28, whilst Warwickshire Ladies Under 14, Sophie Glanfield was unlucky to concede 35 runs from her 8 impressive overs. In reply, the visitors started their run chase well as Morris hit 54 and then West made 84 but both fell to the Town's Roger Kelsey 2-22. It was left to Fisher 20 not out and Duguid 13 not out to secure an easy win as they reached 175-2 with some 15 overs to spare in what turned out to be an one sided affair.
