The Seconds were no match for their K & D counterparts who proved far too strong for the Town side. K & D rattled up 205-3 in their 45 over allocation as Brown 78* and Coley 81* put on an unbroken partnership of 165 as the bowlers toiled in the afternoon sun. Robbins, Kelsey and Phillips took a wicket a piece.
Replying, Kenilworth struggled throughout their innings and limped to 89-8. K & D tried 9 bowlers in the attempt to bowl the obdurate Seconds out. Mark Deeley 17 Chris Walsgrove 11 and Andy Gledhill 10 were the only batsmen to reach double figures in a one sided game that saw K & D win with ease. |
